Horizon. The space or line where the sky meets the earth. So many places where the sky meets the earth around the world, and millions of interactions between two elements. It can be water, a city skyline, a forest, a wasteland, a desert, a sunset outside your bedroom window. Is there a particular horizon which speaks to you?
There are several ways of looking at the word horizon. Wiki says that it is the “apparent line that separates earth from sky, the line that divides all visible directions into two categories: those that intersect the Earth’s surface, and those that do not. At many locations, the true horizon is obscured by trees, buildings, mountains, etc., and the resulting intersection of earth and sky is called the visible horizon.”
I took it as a division — still between the earth and the sky … plus between being tired and getting the rest we need.
Hope the pictures deliver the message somehow.
Being a weekend, I wish everyone gets enough sleep and downtime. Happy weekend to all!
Advanced Happy H, too!

What’s more unusual than looking at the subject’s shadow instead? Chanced on this on the table top at LES Bagels at the Tuscany stretch in Taguig.
Not to say that the subject isn’t nice. Sharing here the full picture, I hope you like this post like the other 4 before it.
Just checked out other unusual POVs here … LIKE!
I call this picture of an unusual POV, the “Bright Idea” and like the Party Peacock (POV #3), I intentionally cut off a part of the scene to show the “bright idea” — which is the lamp post …. then I show the entire scene for your appreciation.
Hope you like it as much as I did.
For other’s intentionally cut masterpieces of unusual POVs, check this link:
This one is interesting.
It’s a peacock … attending a party!
Part of the design of a roof of a hall.
Nice, huh?! Just so you get the whole picture, take a look at the actual party:
Party, peacock, party!

Waaaaah! Hey, Ground! We lost one of our followers — must be because we don’t post regularly? What do you think? Was out for a short holiday (well, technically not really; work-related trip) so the Cleaning Lady was on holiday too (read: no chores this weekend).
This is one of the many sights at Cintai Corito, Balete, Batangas. While it is primarily suited for rest, I was not able to get any (repeat: work-related trip … inulit pa talaga ano? ). Anyway, I had free time early morning yesterday and took some pics. Not sure if WP allows 360ds, but I took some to show the people at home and at work.
Until I have more time to write … just to write.
Happy weekend to all!
It’s me again. I was able to get home (let’s just call it “big house”) and dig up old pictures. Found this and couldn’t resist not posting this as well. This is Mount Mayon, a very active volcano in Legaszpi City, Albay. I have seen her several times and each time, I am awed by this wonderful creation of God. Renowned for its “perfect cone”, Mount Mayon never fails to dazzle me.
She’s a beauty, isn’t she? Again, this is me doing my bit in promoting tourism for the Philippines.
